The Fossil Room on this site is the personal collection of the Ethical Atheist. It is something we are very interested in and the Ethical Atheist is currently obtaining a certificate in Paleontology. Related to atheism, fossils provide clear evidence that creatures existed that are not mentioned in the Bible. Also, these creatures roamed the earth many millions of years before the Biblical 6,000 - 10,000 year historical timetable. In a later article, we will discuss what scientific dating methods are used to determine the age of the fossils.
However, the main reason for the Fossil Room is entertaining education. If you have read the "Ten Commandments (of the Ethical Atheist)", you will note that the Fossil Room fulfills several of our goals. We hope you enjoy viewing and reading about these specimens. More will be added as time permits.
Please note that the ENTIRE Fossil Room is devoid of any discussion of religion, with the exception of this page. It is our view that in the paleontological world, the evidence is so damning of religion that we need not discuss it. Well, except to say that....
