America and the world are outraged by the attacks on the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon.  We are living in fear of further attacks and now even fear our own mail might infect us with anthrax.  We are trying to bring to justice Osama bin Laden and the Al Qaeda terrorist network.  The trouble is, we can't find them.  So, we direct our anger at the Taliban government of Afghanistan for harboring terrorists.  However, the United States appears to be harboring its own group of dangerous religious fanatics who, upon close examination, seem to share many of the same characteristics of the terrorists we are seeking abroad.  Let's look at one, shall we?  (Please also see our related article: Is Pat Robertson a Terrorist?.)

• Promotes intolerance towards many groups and generates hatred toward these groups through his followers.  Examples of these groups include: America, England, Europe, capitalists, infidels, infidel nations in the Middle East, gays, lesbians, women, etc..

• Harsh religions teachings and intolerance have caused fanatics to murder innocent people in New York, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Florida, Israel, Yemen, Sudan, etc...

• Harsh religions teachings and intolerance have caused fanatics to murder innocent abortion clinic doctors and staff using guns and bombs.

• Anthrax threats, deaths and infections have resulted from mail delivered across America, including the U.S. Congress, American news agencies, the U.S. Justice Dept, the U.S. Supreme Court, etc.  All targets of Osama bin Laden's fanatical preaching.

• Anthrax threats and hoax mail have appeared at Planned Parenthood facilities and abortion clinics across America, both targets of Falwell's fanatical preaching.

• Bin Laden states that all religions not following his set of beliefs and interpretations of the Koran are infidels, enemies and should be murdered.

• Falwell states that all religions not following his set of beliefs and interpretations of the Bible are infidels and "failures as human beings".

• Bin Laden blames members of his own Muslim religion and the Middle East and across the globe, denouncing Arab nations and leaders "infidels" who cooperate with the United Nations.  Further stating, "Any Muslim, whether a ruler or a citizen, who supports the infidels against  Islam...even by words is an atheist and infidel who deviated from Islam". • Falwell blames our own citizens and other Christian religious organizations for terrorist activities against us!  Stating the following regarding that the attacks on America.  "What we saw on Tuesday, as terrible as it is, could be minuscule if, in fact, God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve."   And, "The ACLU's got to take a lot of blame for this."  And, "the abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked and when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad...I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who try to secularize America...I point the thing in their face and say you helped this happen."  (Pat Robertson interview of Jerry Falwell on CBN, 9/13/2001)

• America is targeting the Taliban government of Afghanistan for harboring Osama bin Laden.

• Are we "harboring" our own terrorist?  Are we allowing Falwell to promote intolerance and hatred towards our own citizens?  Why don't we take action to stop this?
