We decided that, although we have several articles which touch on claims of Creation Science, we should have a page that specifically addresses this assault on intelligence.  However, we cannot go very far in our examination of this false belief because there simply aren't any facts to support it.  Instead, we will provide references to a few of our articles - but there are other sites devoted to counteracting this movement and shich discuss its absurdity in great detail.  They have, thankfully, undertaken a huge effort to address Creation Science.  We thank them tremendously for their work... and for saving us a great deal of work here...

You may be asking yourself if this page is even necessary?  Why?  Because there are two opposing groups here: one which finds the evidence for evolution overwhelming and accepts it completely; the other which insists on ignoring the facts and who will fabricate any illusion necessary to maintain their views.  So, it's possible that neither side will even read this article.  We'll consider it an experiment and watch the page hits - plus we'll add some great quotes and funny cartoons to 'juice' it up a little bit!

Pro-Evolution/Anti-Creationism

	No Answers in Genesis!   "Creationism is not the alternative to Evolution - ignorance is." This is an excellent site which the direct counterpart to the absurdities found on the site Answers in Genesis.
	National Center for Science Education   "Defending the Teaching of Evolution in the Public Schools" A nationally-recognized clearinghouse for information and advice to keep evolution in the science classroom and "scientific creationism" out.
	Institute of Human Origins Institute of Human Origins (IHO), at Arizona State University is a multidisciplinary research Institute, dedicated to the recovery and analysis of the fossil evidence for human evolution.
	National Academy of Sciences (NAS) - Science and Creationism The NAS has published two booklets relevant to the creation and evolution controversy, one aimed at the general public and one aimed at teachers. You may access both of them here.
	The Skeptical Creationism Website   "Reality is what doesn't cease to exist when you stop believing in it." Many great links on: Evolution, Critiques of Creationism and Intelligent Design, Educational Organizations That Oppose Creationism, Important Books about Evolution, etc.
	The Origin of Species, by Charles Darwin "...from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved." "When I view all beings not as special creations, but as the lineal descendants of some few beings which lived long before the first bed of the Silurian system was deposited, they seem to me to become ennobled. " Probably the best book written on the subject and undoubtedly the biggest contributor to the controversy.

Absurd (& Humorous) Creationist Sites

	Creation Evidence Museum If you want a good laugh, this is the place!  This "museum" located in Glen Rose, Texas, wants you to believe that people and dinosaurs lived together.  It claims that "human tracks" exist alongside dinosaur tracks found in the area.  You will encounter lies immediately upon entering the door.  The fossil case is said to contain fossils from the area, yet upon close examination, it actually contains:  an Elrathia kingi trilobite from central Utah; a Macginitea leaf from the Green River Formation in northwest Colorado; fossil Knightia (fish) from the Green River formation; and fish from the Cretaceous of Brazil.  Regarding the "human footprints", go read (and laugh) for yourself.
	Christian Answers This site calls itself "a mega-site providing biblical answers to contemporary questions".  In other words, it "provides Christian answers so you don't have to think for yourself about valid questions that agnostics, atheists or scientists may ask you".
